No matter how old you are, it’s never too late to take on some beauty habits.
With a busy schedule, work, family, home, friends … it is clear that we do not have all the time to spend 3 hours a day in the bathroom to push our cuticles.
Know nevertheless that by force of small fast habits, daily or not, one can quickly establish a beauty routine
1 – MAKE OUT ALL EVENINGS.
YES, it seems obvious, I grant you. And yet … who never returned from a late evening (see earlier) , the panda’s eyes in front of the mirror to say “lazy, we’ll see tomorrow morning” , which has never fallen asleep in the TV, to end up crawling to bed thinking “anyway I have not worn a lot of make up today, suddenly it’s nothing” … Good. Whatever the excuse, it’s bad, do not look.
Make up every night before sleep, and do it in two steps:
Step 1, spend a first time to remove all the makeup you have on the skin … forehead, eyes, mouth, neck, do not forget!
2nd step, iron all over with a clean cotton pad to clean off any remaining impurities.
If you do not iron with a clean cotton, impurities will stay on your skin and become encrusted in your pores during the night … this is especially what create the nice little buttons and other imperfections with which you wake up in the morning!
Remember to moisturize your skin before sleeping.
2 – DO NOT CLEAN YOUR SKIN IN THE MORNING, USE SIMPLY A WATER MIXER (NOT CALCAR).
It is at night that your skin works, regenerates itself and creates a film that will protect your skin from the aggressions of the day (pollution in particular).
If you wash your face in the morning, it is as if you are destroying all the work done during the night. You will dry your skin with its protective layer and weaken it.
To refresh and / or remove limescale from the water of your shower , I advise you to take two discs of cotton, to spray them with a mist of water (type Evian for example, which you will find in all the supermarkets) which is pure and therefore does not contain limestone and pass it on your face. Apply your moisturizer, your makeup and voila.
3 – GO TO SEE A DERMATOLOGIST.
You will tell me: “No interest for me, I do not have skin problems. “
Yet know that dermatologists are not right there to cure severe acne in some patients. This can allow you to have an accurate diagnosis of the nature of your skin, and to know which products are best for you. It is always better to have the opinion of a professional once and for all than to make your own idea (which often, let’s face it, is false).
In addition, it also allows for a complete check-up for your entire body, check some moles, tasks and others that may be problematic over time. Prevention is better than cure !
4 – TRIEZ YOUR COSMETICS (CREAMS, MAKE-UP …)
Like food, cosmetics have a limit of use. ( And yes, that odd smell that you feel when you open the lipstick that you kindly left your mother “because she never wears it” is simply a sign that it is out of date.
It is therefore important to sort regularly: a cream received in a box that you want to test, a lipstick that you do not wear often … By regularly discarding your expired products you limit the risk of transferring bacteria to your skin !
5. PROTECT YOUR FACE FROM THE RAYS OF THE SUN!
Often in the summer there is a tendency to protect specific areas, which are considered risky because it is often there that red crayfish, such as the shoulders or thighs for example (cuckoo the girl who speaks in knowingly). Even if you do not get sunburn on the cheeks: protect your face with a suitable cream. Too much exposure to the sun without protection causes premature aging of the skin, and sometimes even cancer in the most important cases.
Also, do not wait to go to the beach to protect yourself, the sun is everywhere, and even in winter. To simplify protection even in winter, choose a moisturizer that contains protective agents.
6 – EXFOLIATE YOUR SKIN REGULARLY.
Exfoliating your entire body regularly eliminates dead skin. The interest is to give way to your moisturizing creams to get into the skin that really needs it. This improves the circulation in your body and it also allows better hair removal.
7 – WASH YOUR MAKE-UP BRUSHES MINIMUM ONCE A MONTH.
Some women do it every day after wearing makeup, others are lazy and just do it every week, others every 6 months and some never do.
Well know that it is estimated (well not me, but professionals in the sector) that once a month is a correct frequency! This cleans all impurities, excess makeup, bacteria, etc.
In addition, remember to replace them regularly. There are no good frequencies for this, it all depends on the quality of departure, the use that you have and especially the care you give them. A priori, if you are a little objective, you will quickly realize when your brushes will beg you to leave them alone.
